Budget Web Design Packages
Do you need a budget solution for getting online? I offer cost effective options for businesses that need to get online for less.
Cost effective web design packages that are great for simple websites
I've streamlined my web development process, to keep prices low and turnaround times short
The budget web design packages that I offer are intended to create a lot of value within a short time frame and at a lower price point. I’ve built these packages by focusing on streamlining my design and development processes, favouring reductions in labour time over offering a higher degree of customisation.
Regardless of the cost, my objective is to build you an attractive and engaging website that will compliment your business and improve your online visibility.
- Requires Swan Hosting AccountThe budget basic package requires you to use the DIY website builder on Swan Hosting.
- Web PagesThis is the number of web pages included in the package.
- Estimated turnaround timeThe estimated time frame for me to complete the build from project start. I only begin working on a build once you have signed the letter of engagement and paid the deposit.
- Contact Form & Google MapsIncludes contact forms that can be used to easily contact your business through an automatically generated email. Also includes an integrated Google map so that your customers can get directions to your business from your website.
- CMS AccessYou will have access to the CMS(content management system) that I install onto your website, this lets you make changes to your website as you see fit. If you do ever make a catasrophic mistake, I will be able to fix it for you.
- Custom DesignThe design of the website is customised around your needs, you give me the idea of what you're looking for and I'll build it. Throughout the process you'll have the opportunity to give input as to what you do and don't like, until finally we arrive at the design that is perfect for you.
- Front Page SlideshowA slideshow on the front page of your website is an impactful design feature that can really help draw customers into your website.
- Integrated SecurityYour website will be protected with my integrated server security system, this includes the use of an SSL certificate.
- Dynamic Blog & Photo GalleryBlogs are an effective tool for updateable content such as a news section. Photo galleries can be used to display your latest work. Both of these will be designed around your needs and I will build a template that makes it easy to update.
- Content WritingRather than provide me with all of the written content on your website, I will write it for you. Depending on what your product/service is will dictate how much I write about the topic, as some products have a lot that can be talked about but others less so. As a general rule of thumb though I will write a minimum of a paragraph for each page. *This does not include product blurbs for the E-Commerce package*
- Website TrainingIn our final meeting I will run you through how to use the various tools on your website. The training typically takes between 1-2 hours.
- E-Commerce & Payment SystemThe website can be setup to handle a variety of potential E-Commerce functions, such as an online store, a booking system, a subscription service and so on. The website will also be built to integrate a payment system (e.g. stripe).

The web design process
These are the steps that I'll go through with you to develop your website
01.
Initial Contact & Information Gathering
The first thing is to initiate contact and let me know you’re interested in my services, this is where you will be able to ask me any questions that you may have.
From there I will send you a information request form, this is a series of questions that will help me design and build your site, you don’t need to answer all of the questions but more is better.
02.
Account Set Up & Letter Of Engagement
Now that I know what you’re looking for, it’s time to set up your Swan Hosting account, sign my letter of engagement, and pay the deposit (which is 50%).
To setup your Swan Hosting account, you simply click this link, select the package that suits you and follow the prompts to complete your account setup.
03.
The Work Stage
Now that all of the pre-engagement stuff is out of the way, I can schedule your project into my calendar, I will be able to provide you with an estimated date for the work to be carried out.
This is where the bulk of the work is carried out, most of this should be completable using your answers from the original information request form, but I will let you know if I need more information.
04.
Website Presentation & Signoff
Once I’ve built a website that I’m happy with, I will send you a link to the draft, so that you can have a look through and see what you think. If there’s anything that you would like changed, simply send me an email and I will adjust it.
Once you’re happy with everything and signoff on the work, we move to the migration step, where I will push your website live.
If you've still got questions, feel free to ask me directly, I'm here to help
